When I was younger I found great pleasure in helping and working with animals, as a young child that involved pets.
I grew up with, dog sitting the neighbors dogs when they went out of town, and volunteering at a veterinarian office during my high school years. When I turned 18, I left California and took up a live in nanny job in Arizona. I decided I was finally ready for my first puppy. I went in search for a dog that would be great with kids, being the ages ranged from three years up to fifteen. I had a love for spaniel breed from the start. I came across the Brittany breed completely by chance.
I read they were gentle and patient with kid and other pets. I also read they were high energy but very loyal family dogs. So I had my mind made up and went to pick up my first Brittany puppy and fell head over heels, and haven't looked back since!
My husband and I met in the winter of 2007, and like me he also fell in love with the Brittany breed. Like most things in life, you can't just have one, we decided we were ready for a second addition to "our little family". Well here we are many years later, four more Brittany's and a few kids in the picture and "our little family" isn't so little anymore. The rest is history in the making.
My husband has been and outdoors-man since he was old enough to walk. He grew up in Arizona hunting birds with his dogs by his side. His passion has always been the joy of the hunting with mans best friend. He says" The hunt is for the dog, and the Act of hunting is for his pleasure". He has owned many dogs growing up, and he truly adores Brittany's and considers them to be the most versatile in the working breeds. He loves how athletic they are in the field, yet how docile in the house but most of all, the joy they bring our family.
